TIGERRS (Transgender, Intersex, Gender-Expansive Revolutionary Resources & Services)
TIGERRS is dedicated to delivering quality, robust and consistent direct services to the transgender, intersex, and gender-expansive communities in Minnesota. By fostering an effective and accountable intergenerational community, we work to create safe spaces and resources for all TIGERRS to connect, empower, process and grow together on our journeys of liberation.
Transforming Families Minnesotal
A community where transgender, gender non-conforming, and questioning youth and their families come together to support each other in a safe, welcoming space. At our monthly gatherings, separate breakout groups for parents, kids, siblings, and teens provide the opportunity to meet and learn from other people traveling the same path. Families meet other families to share, talk, and hang out. We're here to listen to each other's stories, exchange resources, build community, and have fun!
Dragged Out Minnesota
Dragged Out has been a drag king focused show that has been around since 2006! Within our cast, we not only have performed in other places in the Twin Cities, but as well as various shows throughout the nation, including fundraisers/benefits that have helped many queer organizations and individuals. We strive to be a show where everyone feels welcome and safe to be who they are while fully being entertained!
A themed monthly, non-competitive show that features alternative drag, dance, and burlesque. You can catch a show at Meteor Minneapolis during the winter season and Twin Spirits Distillery and M Coffee Shop during the summer.
A monthly show featuring primarily Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BI&POC) trans/nonbinary/two spirit artists. Troupe artists and guests show their artistry in drag, burlesque, spoken word, and more. This troupe is one of a handful of such troupes on Turtle Island (known by the colonizer name the United States) that focus on BI&POC trans/nonbinary/two spirit artists.
A queer and trans-owned events company committed to providing safe entertainment spaces for the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies. Pop up shows have been throughout the Twin Cities with recent shows at The Hook and Ladder Theater and Lounge.
Trans/Nonbinary Exchange on Facebook
A private group of over 2,000 members on Facebook who are part of our trans/nonbinary communities in Minnesota. Anyone can ask to be part of the group through a series of vetting questions to ensure safety for all group members. Minnesota Two Spirit Society
Promoting awareness of Two-Spirit people in Minnesota and surrounding communities. Intertribal traditions and values and connecting within these communities are the foundation of this organization.
Minnesota Queers DO WORK on Facebook
A private group of over 6,000 members on Facebook who are in our queer communities (including our trans/nonbinary/two spirit) in Minnesota. Anyone can ask to be part of the group through a series of vetting questions to ensure safety for all group members. People can ask for employment recommendations as well as asking for employees whether it’s at a large company or a handy-person opportunity.
The Black Hart of St Paul
A neighborhood, queer, and soccer bar in the Midway area of St Paul. The Black Hart was formerly known as The Town House Bar and continues the legacy of queer events and shows including drag and burlesque.
Providing support, advocacy, education, and connection in the trans community. Based in Duluth, Minnesota, we connect with a wide community ranging from Hibbing to Minneapolis to Brainerd, as well as northern Wisconsin towns like Superior and Ashland.
Team Trans Twin Cities Hockey
An international hockey team of all trans and nonbinary hockey players. It is the first ever hockey team of all trans athletes.
