Getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) in Minnesota can help you identify STDs early, protect yourself and your partners, and limit the spread of STDs – especially those with undetectable or mild symptoms.
STDs are a national concern, and Minnesota ranks 38th in the country for congenital syphilis. The prevalence of other STDs is lower in this state than in others, based on the latest data from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Minnesota is 38th for chlamydia, 29th for gonorrhea, and 37th for syphilis.
